These Terms of Use govern your use of ProfitNote (the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

The end-user license agreement and payment policies of the app marketplace from which you downloaded the app may also apply.

The Service helps you record profit and loss, asset categories, and notes, and review them through calendars, statistics, widgets, and similar features. Some features may vary depending on your device, operating system, app version, or network conditions.

Calculations, statistics, and screens in the Service organize data that you enter and are provided for reference only. The Service does not provide investment, financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice and does not recommend buying or selling any financial product.

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and their results. When appropriate, seek advice from a qualified professional before making important decisions.

You are responsible for entering accurate information and keeping your device and accounts secure. Trading records you enter are generally stored on your device.

Records may be lost if your device is lost or damaged, the app is deleted, or the operating system changes. Keep a separate copy of important records by using CSV export or another suitable backup method.

The Service may display advertising to support its operation and may offer a permanent ad-removal product through supported app marketplaces. Pricing, payment, purchase restoration, and refunds are governed by the policies of the marketplace and payment account you use.

Purchase availability and displayed prices may vary by country, device, platform, or store account. These terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

You must use the Service only for personal and lawful purposes.

• Do not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
• Do not interfere with normal operation of the Service or attempt to bypass its security.
• Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app beyond what applicable law expressly permits.

The software, interface, trademarks, copy, and other elements of the Service belong to the developer or their lawful owners. You retain your rights in the records that you create.

These terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal purposes.

The developer may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service when needed for improvements, maintenance, security, legal compliance, or operations. Where reasonably possible, material changes will be announced in the app or through the app marketplace.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided as available and without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The developer is not responsible for losses arising from incorrect entries, investment decisions, device problems, data loss, or third-party services.

Nothing in this section excludes liability for the developer’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. Updated terms will show a new effective date, and material changes will be announced in the app or through the app marketplace where reasonably possible. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may stop using the Service.
